I just completed Further as a Yr 11 student, having not done units 1/2 general Maths  and I found it relatively easy. If you coped with methods reasonably well this year then you should be fine with further. (: there were others in my class doing both methods and further as a year 12 student.
Depending on what modules your school does you might be better prepared than you realize. I learnt my matrices module in my methods class as well as my further.
Anyway, whichever way you decide, I don&#039;t think you&#039;ll be disadvantaged. It&#039;s fairly simple Maths that goes over the basic anyway.
