Thanks for posting a comment. There are lots of issues you could write about but a good strategy is for you to read sections of the newspaper like letters to the editor and editorials. They contain emotive language and chances are you will find a topic of interest within them. Apart from obviously sourcing ideas through your teacher you could also research somewhere like &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.idebate.org&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;idebate&lt;/a&gt; which acts like a resource for debaters. Includes topics, arguments for and against etc.
Does anyone else have suggestions?
