VCE and careers expo

VCE and careers expo Feeling a little slow, lacking direction and even motivation?

The 2008 VCE and Careers expo is a fantastic opportunity for VCE students, parents and teachers to find the VCE resources they need for VCE success and beyond. Students and visitors will be able to attend free lectures, pick up resources from VCE organisations and talk to a myriad of people about careers and post-school options.

This is the must attend event of the year and it’s happening next weekend

Where: Caulfield Racecourse

When: 11th - 13th of April 2008

Times: 10am to 5pm each day

Costs: $ 8 (but ticket is valid for all 3 days - so you can come back over multiple days if you wish)

How to get there: Caulfield Racecourse is right next to Caulfield Train Station. Public Transport. Car parking is available as well.

What to bring: Your friends and parents for support and assistance. Don’t forget to also bring some money to buy discounted resources. Bring a bag for all the resources, booklets and pamphlets that you will pick up on the day.

What to do: When you arrive you will collect a visitor guide. Spend some time perusing the seminar program and decide which presentations you want to attend.

For the record Dr. Matt will be presenting his captivating and inspiring presentation on “The 7 deadly mistakes students make and how to avoid them” over 3 days:

    1. Friday 11th @ 10.15am (Seminar room 4)
      Saturday 12th @ 3.30pm (Seminar room 4)
      Sunday 13th @ 11.45am (Seminar room 4)
  • These sessions last year proved to be very popular so make sure you get in early to reserve your seat.

Don’t forget to come and visit us at stand 77, which is on the ground level next to VTAC (far right hand side as you enter).

Come and introduce yourselves and check out our VCE Toolkit Resources. Looking forward to meeting you there.

    Cheers,

    Heath
