Hi all,
By now, you should have finished the Unit 4 VCE Biology exam for 2009.
What did you think of the paper? What was hard? What was easy? How do you think you went?

i thought it was great.
bit long though…
about 99% of people ive spoken to either found it ridiculously hard or didn’t finish.

definitely better than the unit 3 exam!

yeah i found it easier than unit 3 for sure. but now im unsure, a bit stressed about maybe skipping a page somehow.. seeing that i wasn’t pushed for time at all
id love to know if theres solutions somewhere too

i thought it was ok, finished in time by about 10 seconds, had to go over the Q bout the plant heights that i figured out i answered wrong

Thanks Lucy – keep in mind people that these answers have posted by a student who completed the exam. I wouldn’t take the suggested answers as 100% accurate considering that they aren’t authored by the VCAA to my knowledge. Also…you don’t quite know the marking scheme ie – how the assessors have been told to allocate the marks and exactly what they are looking for. At the end of the day you just have to wait until you get the results I suppose.
BTW congratulations to all students who have finished up their VCE exams yesterday and getting set to hit Schoolies…take it easy.

On the unit 3 exam, I finished 45 minutes early, and got a A+. So, I took my time on the Unit 4 exam. YEARGH! IT WAS LONG! But… it was easy. It really could have been longer. I finished on time, but others I talked to complained that they didn’t get the last 2 pages finished.
