Take 5 and help
By Heath McGregor on Nov 4, 2009 in Beyond the VCE, Goal Achievement, VCE Resources
This has been the most unbelievable year. So much has happened and as we wind up our VCE studies I want to borrow you for just 3-5 minutes in total to answer each of these questions in the comments section below – I would really appreciate it ( as would the class of 2010 who will benefit from this next year and beyond). Thanks for your support.
# 1. What has been challenging for you this year?
For example; finding time to study?, struggling to keep up with work? etc.
# 2. If you had your time over what would you have done differently?
# 3. What other information do you need or want to help you reach your goals for the VCE exams?
3 questions answered in 3-5 minutes. Short, sharp and to the point.
Thanks for your help on this one. Cheers, Heath

1. Finding the discipline to study. I had the time, just not the discipline required. I did, however, try to study as much as I could.
2. Administered an effective study plan from the beginning of the year right through to the end. lol. Planned ahead pretty much.
3. None thanks =D

the most challenging part for me would be balancing social life with study life. Being in yr 11, i believe i still did OKAY. But next year,it is serious. Hence, like Steven i am planning ahead, and doin studies in advance to make sure i dont get all cramped with studies at the last minute, AS WELL AS drop on facebook every hour n then…;)

1. juggling time between school work and socialising. The teachers seemed to loose motivation nearly as quick as us so it was hard to push yourself.
2. cared more about end of year exams, it seemed once id done mid years i lost all motivation.
3. more subject specific help

1. motivating myself to study. Usually i had no motivation to work, so i ended up wasting time.
2. i wish i had stay up-to-date or even slightly ahead with everything school work because once i fell behind it was really difficult to catch up.
